Making The Paneer
  1. In a bowl, crumble the paneer and then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, chat masala, salt and pepper and mix well.
Making The Coating Mixture
  1. In a large wide bowl, add the besan and the corn flour, mix it nicely, then add some chilli powder and some salt.
  2. Add a cup (or more) of water to make the mixture a little liquidy and whip it together nicely.
  3. Cut up a slice of bread and put it in the mixer to crumble it and then add the bread into the besan mixture. This is mostly for texture.
Making The Pakoda
  1. Roll the paneer into balls and then dip it into the besan mixture to coat it properly.
  2. Put it into the oil and fry it properly, turning it onto every side till golden brown.
Recipe Notes

Add a little water and some corn flour to the paneer mixture so that it’s easy to roll into balls.
