Ingredients
Cooked Rice – 3/4 cup
Gingelly Oil – 1 tsp
Peanuts – 1/4 Cup
White Sesame seeds – 1 tbsp
Red chillies -2
Grated dry coconut – 2 tablespoon
Urad Dal – 1 tsp
To temper
Oil – 1 tsp
Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
Curry Leaves – a sprig
Peanuts – 1 tbsp
Instructions
In a pan, dry roast all the ingredients except the rice and tempering ingredients until golden brown.
Add salt to taste and grind to a fine powder.
Heat oil in a pan and add the ingredients required for tempering. Allow to splutter and remove from flame.
Add rice in a bowl and mix with peanut powder and tempered items.
Serve hot!
Recipe Notes
You can also add a few cashewnuts to the tempering.
