Spicy Chicken Roast
Roast chicken with a combination of spices.

Ginger

green chillies
slit lengthwise and sliced

black pepper

garam masala

aniseed powder
Salt as per taste
A handful of curry leaves

To marinate

Instructions
Combine the ingredients for marinating and coat the chicken pieces with them.
Allow the chicken to marinate for half an hour.
Grind the ginger and garlic together into a fine paste.
Heat the oil and sauté the onions and curry leaves.
As the onions begin to brown, stir in the ginger garlic paste and the green chilies.
Then, stir in the aniseed powder and crushed black pepper.
Stir in the chicken, along with the marinade and sauté until the chicken is well coated.
Cover the chicken and allow it to cook on a medium flame for 20 minutes.
Take the lid off the pan and stir in a tablespoon of oil.
Allow the chicken to cook until well roasted.
Place into a serving dish and enjoy!
