Prawn Stir Up
Fried rice infused with juicy prawns.

cooked and cooled

To make the prawns

cleaned and de veined prawns

light soy sauce

Vinegar

brown sugar

Tomato ketchup

Instructions
To make the prawns
Combine the tomato sauce, vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar and red chili paste and mix well.
Marinate the prawns in this mixture for half an hour.
Head the sesame oil and sauté the ginger and garlic.
Add the spring onions and green chillies and sauté for two minutes.
Then, stir in the prawns as well as the sauce and allow them to cook without stirring for a minute.
Flip the prawns and allow them to cook for another minute.
Sauté the prawns for 3-4 minutes and add salt as required.
Remove from the heat and allow them to cool.
To make the fried rice
Stir fry the spring inions for a minute in the sesame oil.
Stir in the rest of the vegetables and continue sautéing for 3-4 minutes.
Add salt and pepper and the cooked prawns.
Sauté the prawns for a minute and then add the rice.
Continue sautéing the rice, turning the heat down to medium high.
After two minutes, pour in the vinegar and sauté over high heat for 10-15 seconds.
Take the rice of the stove and serve!
