Roughly chop spring onion bulbs, red capsicum and red chillies.
Add spring onion bulbs and garlic to the pan and sauté for half a minute. Add capsicum, prawns, and salt and mix well. Add ¼ cup water, tamarind paste, red chillies and mix well.
Add basil leaves and mix well and cook till the prawns are done.
Transfer the prawns onto a serving plate and serve hot.
