Instructions
Roast the fenugreek seeds, coriander seeds, red chillies and sesame seeds.
Allow the mixture to cool and then powder it.
Cook and strain the rice.
Soak the tamarind in two cups of hot water.
After half an hour, discard the pulp and reserve the water.
Heat a little oil and fry all the ingredients in the seasoning list.
After a minute or two, pour in the tamarind juice and salt.
Allow this gravy to cook until it thickens.
Mix the rice with the sesame oil and turmeric powder.
Then, mix the spice powder as per taste into the rice.
Do the same with the tamarind gravy.
Serve the rice!
