We will be using Kuttu ka atta in this recipe. You can substitute it with Singoda flour (water chestnut flour) or even wheat flour – if not fasting.
Assemble all the ingredients. If you prefer you can add 1/2 tablespoon crushed Peanuts to this recipe.
In a bowl mash boiled potatoes and add all the ingredients one by one.
Save sabudana for the last.
Mix everything together till it is well blended.
Mixture will look like this.
Shape them like round patties.
Depending on the size it will yield 15 vadas.
Heat a non stick pan on a medium flame and sprinkle 2 teaspoon oil. Transfer these vadas to this hot pan and cook till evenly brown on both the side – turning occasionally.
Beautifully toasted vadas.
If using the appe pan, heat appe pan on a medium flame, drop a pea size oil at the base of appe pan and place vadas in each appe moulds. Cover and cook till evenly brown on both the side.
