Heat one tablespoon of oil in a wok or frying pan over a high flame. Add the spring onion whites carrots, french beans, capsicum, celery and stir fry for 3 to 4 minutes.
Add the potatoes, spring onion greens, soya sauce, chilli powder and salt and cook for a few more minutes. Cool the mixture.
Spread a little mixture on each bread slice and press well by hand to make an even layer.
How to proceed
Make a paste of the flour with ½ cup of water. Apply this paste over the vegetables.
Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the vegetables and press them down gently.
Deep fry the bread slices in hot oil over a medium flame until they are golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
Cut each slice into 4 long strips and arrange on a serving plate.
