Butter Up Your Shrimp
A delicious pasta topped with succulent shrimp cooked in butter garlic sauce
Instructions
Cooking the pasta
  1. In a large pot, boil water and when it comes to boil add in a pinch of salt and linguini
  2. Stir it a bit and cover, while cooking for 6-8 minutes
  3. Drain the pasta and top it with some olive oil. Set aside
For the sauce
  1. In a large frying pan, heat up 2 tbsp of butter and 2 tbsp of olive oil on medium-heat
  2. Add the shallots, garlic, red pepper flakes and cook until the shallots becomes translucent
  3. Sprinkle some salt and pepper on top of the shrimp and add the seasoned shrimp to the pan
  4. Cook the shrimp until they turn pink in colour, for 2-3 minutes
  5. When cooked, remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside
  6. Add wine juice and lemon juice to the same pan and bring to a boil
  7. Add 2 tbsp of butter and 2 tbsp of olive oil and when the butter is melted, add the shrimp, cooked pasta, parsley and stir well
  8. Drizzle over a bit of olive oil and serve
