Ingredients

Tablespoon olive oil

lean ground turkey

medium red or yellow onion
peeled and diced

cloves
garlic
minced
2
cans tomato sauce
15 ounce
2
cans diced tomatoes
14 ounce

can black beans
rinsed and drained, 15 ounce
1
can dark red kidney beans
rinsed and drained, 15 ounce
1
can light red kidney beans
rinsed and drained, 15 ounce
1
can whole kernel corn
drained, 15 ounce
1
can chopped Green Chiles
4 ounce

beer or chicken broth
1
packet taco seasoning
¼ cup

Tablespoon chili powder

ground cumin

½black pepper
Instructions
Heat oil in large pan over medium to high heat.
Add the turkey and saute until completely brown, about 6-8 minutes, using a spoon to stir and break up the meat as it cooks.
Drain the cooked turkey and then place the turkey into a slow cooker.
Add all of the remaining ingredients except the toppings, and stir
Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until the soup is cooked through.
Serve warm, garnished with optional toppings if desired.
