Ingredients

dried chickpeas

whole mustard seeds

fresh curry leaves

Dry Red Chillies

finely grated coconut

water to cook the chick peas
Salt
oil to grease
Chopped coriander
to garnish.
Instructions
Soak the peas, in enough water and a pinch of salt, overnight.
Cook the peas in a pressure cooker until just done.
Drain and set aside.
In a shallow pan, heat oil.
When hot, add the mustard seeds and wait for them to pop.
Add the curry leaves and chillies.
As they start to crisp, add the cooked beans and a pinch of salt.
Toss and cook on low flame for a couple of minutes.
Sprinkle the grated coconut and cook for a few minutes.
Serve hot.
