Ingredients

Yam peeled and diced

dhuli urad dal

fresh coconut grated
Instructions
Heat coconut oil in a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
Add fenugreek seeds, black gram and curry leaves and sauté well. Add green chillies and sauté.
Add yam, mix well and sauté. Add sugar, salt and crushed peppercorns, mix well, cover and cook on low heat till yam turns soft.
Add coconut and mix well. Switch off heat
Serve hot.
