Instructions
Preheat an oven to 220C and grease a baking sheet.
Sift the flour and salt together and knead in the butter.
Add the sugar and milk and continue kneading until you get a soft dough.
Pat the dough into about 2 cm thickness and cut out rounds from it.
Place the rounds on a baking sheet.
Brush the scones with the beaten egg.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until golden.
Cool on a wire rack and serve!
