Chut- Up!
A yummy sidekick for most South Indian breakfasts and snacks.
Ingredients
To grind to a paste

Coconut
shredded or sliced

tbsp
Dalia
5-6
green chillies
1/2
piece
“of ginger”
1
clove
garlic
salt to taste
few coriander leaves
To season
1
tsp
Oil
1/2
tsp
Mustard seeds
1
tsp
channa dal + urad dal
Few curry leaves
Instructions
Grind the ingredients under “to grind” into a paste with a little water. Make sure it’s not too runny.
Heat oil in a small pan and add the mustard seeds.
Once they start to pop, add the dals.
Once the dals start to brown slightly, add the curry leaves and remove from the heat.
Add the seasoning to the paste and stir well.
Serve with dosa, idli or bajji.
