  1. Put coffee bean powder, sugar and 1½ cups of water in a cylindrical brass (Turkish) coffee mill.
  2. Heat the mill, cook for 3-4 minutes or till a thick foam rises to the surface and the mixture bubbles.
  3. Remove the mill from heat and place it back on heat. Repeat this for 3-4 times. Make sure not to mix the coffee.
  4. Pour the coffee into 4 shot glasses and serve piping hot.
