Instructions
Begin by keeping the oven on preheat at 375 F and keep the rack in the centre.
Line the baking sheet and sift the flour, baking powder and salt in a mixing bowl.
In another small, microwave safe bowl, break the chocolate into pieces and melt it in the microwave and let it cool down.
Now take the butter, both sugars in a large bowl and beat them together till you get a smooth and fluffy mixture.
To this add egg and beat it in as well.
Now mix in the food colouring and the chocolate till well blended.
Add half of the flour mixture and combine the whole mixture together.
Mix in the sour cream and then the remaining flour mixture till combined.
Lastly fold in the chocolate chips and put even drops of batter onto the baking sheet.
Bake for about nine minutes or till done.
Let the cookies cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before shifting them on the wire rack to cool down completely.
Meanwhile, make the frosting by whipping the butter, cream cheese, and vanilla together.
Add half of the sugar, beat it in and then repeat with the remaining till you get the required consistency.
For serving spread frosting on one cookie and cover it with another but make sure that the cookies are completely cooled down.
