Instructions
  1. Take jaggery in a bowl, add in water and let them soak for 5 mins. Now take them in a pan and heat it, it will come to a boil. Strain this and set aside.
  2. Take rice flour, urad dal flour in a dry pan and roast for 2 mins or so.
  3. Take this in a sifter and sieve well.
  4. Take this in a bowl, add in butter, sesame seeds, coconut in a bowl and mix well.
  5. Add in jaggery water little by little and make a dough.
  6. Take small portion from the mix and shape it into a small ball.
  7. Set aside for 30 mins so it dries up.
  8. Heat oil for deep frying, drop the seedai in oil and fry till it gets light colour. Now reduce the flame to medium and fry till dark.
  9. Drain and cool it down.
  10. Store it in a container and enjoy.
