Chicken and Waffles Recipe
Fried chicken atop fresh waffles.

Ingredients
vegetable oil
1/4

hot sauce

egg
beaten

chicken tenders

flour

Seasoning
Kosher salt and ground pepper

butter

scallions
sliced

chicken broth

frozen waffles
Instructions
Whisk the hot sauce and egg together.
Coat the chicken tenders with this mixture.
Mix the flour, seasoning and salt and pepper together.
Reserve a tablespoon of the mixture.
Dip the chicken in the mixture and shake off any excess.
Het an inch of oil and fry the chicken until golden on both sides.
Place on paper towels and allow to cool.
Melt the butter and sauté the scallions in it and then the flour.
Add the broth and then stir until the gravy becomes smooth.
Allow to summer for ten minutes.
Toast the waffles and top with the maple syrup and the gravy.
Add the chicken to the top.
Serve and enjoy.
