Dineout Expands Its Presence By Partnering With Chain Restaurants

Dineout, the online table reservation platform has partnered with large restaurant chains to extend its presence in the restaurant sector. Partnering with restaurant chains handled by the JSM group, Lite Bite Food and along with Chilis, Barbecue Nation and TGI Fridays is part of an initiative to increase its customer base. The initiative to expand its reach has already lead to the launch of its new subscription based premium service, Dineout Plus and a restaurant management software, Inresto to provide technological assistance to restaurants in the country.

Dineout Plus

The partnership follows the launch of Dineout Plus, an exclusive membership based program for customers to receive major discounts in restaurants in  five-star hotels in major cities. The Dineout Plus programme has received interest from customers due to its discounted rates of 25% across all restaurants. Speaking about the program, Ankit Mehrotra, Co-Founder and CEO of Dineout said, “5-Star hotel restaurants are a special category in itself. They have been facing stiff challenge from standalone restaurants outside. Their business has been suffering. We wanted to do something for them. That’s how we launched this subscription programme. This enables the customer to do unlimited usage in multiple restaurants.” Around 150 restaurants from Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi and Bengaluru are currently participating in the program. 

Technology Based Partnerships

Dineout release of its open-platform restaurant management software, Inresto, has also provided the restaurants with an incentive to join the growing number of restaurants in Dineout’s database. The increase of technological innovations in the restaurant sector provided an added benefit for the launch of the platform and the need to improve customer service by the use of technology is the leading concern for restaurants all over the country.
