on

Any true blue foodie in India’s major cities would have heard of Restaurant Week India; an event that allows foodies across Bangalore, Chennai Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata to enjoy a full course meal at fine dining restaurants for a set price that is much lower than a regular meal at the restaurant would cost.

This month, the same group behind Restaurant Week India, Cellar Door Hospitality, brings food lovers in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore the Dinefest. From 19th February to 28th February, attendees can enjoy a three course meal for Rs.600 at each of the city’s finest informal dining restaurants.

Here’s a line-up of some of the restaurants a hungry foodies can visit:

Mumbai

Sassy

Cafe Zoe, Bonobo, Brewbot, The Sassy Spoon, Sichuan House and the newly opened Sodabottleopenerwala are some prominent restaurants on the list. While The Sassy Spoon will serve European specials like penne with smoked aubergine and brown rice paella, Sodabottleopenerwala will dish out Parsi classics like dhansak and tareli machi.

Delhi

Jamie

Jamie’s Italian at Vasant Kunj will be serving (yes, you guessed it) Italian specials like bruschetta, pizza and pastas while  Fuji Japanese Restaurant at Connaught Place will have a set menu for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians including miso soup and bento. Other restaurants participating include Rustom’s, The Hungry Monkey and Depot 29.

Bangalore

Chianti

Diners in Bangalore can enjoy a meal at Cafe Caassia, Cafe Toscano, Chianti and The Black Rabbit. Chianti’s menu includes Italian specialities like funghi al forno, gnocchi, penne and fusilli pasta while Cafe Cassia will include delicacies like plated hummus with pita and butter chicken quiche.

Go Ahead And Make A Booking!

Is your mouth watering at the thought of all those dishes? Head over to the Dinefest website and make yourself a reservation; you can be sure that places at each restaurant won’t last long. To secure your reservation you’ll need to fork over Rs.50, which will not be adjusted against your bill at the restaurant. Still, seems like a pretty sweet deal, right?
