Enjoy An Eduppu Kaala Inspired Art Workshop hosted at Go Native – Lavelle Road

Start the new year with a fun and creative streak! In this interesting art workshop conducted by Artist Vidya you will be sanding a carved cow head, sketching a design you like, and painting the piece. You will also be decorating the cow head with nose rings, pom poms and other accessories. Inspired by the Eduppu Kaala festival at the Oachira Parabrahma Temple in Kerala, this workshop will allow you to explore your creative side. The cow is believed to be a symbol of grace and abundance. Use your piece of work as home decor — it is believed to bring calm and peace.

What to Expect

  • A hands-on experience in painting and decorating cow heads for above 12 years of age
  • All materials will be provided
  • Each participant takes home the piece they have painted and decorated during the workshop
