Feast On Special Home-style Bengali Delicacies at Hyatt Centric MG Road Bangalore
Hyatt Centric MG Road Bangalore has partnered with Authenticook for monthly pop-ups that promote regional cuisines and home chefs. This property provides a platform to several regional home chefs to promote their talent and is scheduled on every second Saturday of the month at The Bengaluru Brasserie. The first pop up in the series, scheduled on 16th March, will host home chef Sukanya who will serve her Bengali specialties both for lunch and dinner.
An ex-geoscience professor, turned into a food blogger and photographer, Sukanya is especially fond of traditional methods of cooking and thoroughly inculcates these practices in her traditional Bengali specialties. The special menu curated by Sukanya will reflect a typical full course Bengali meal that consists of starter, shukto, dal-bhaja, bata-bhorta, saag of the day, main dish (curries), tok / chutney and dessert. Authentic delicacies like luchi, kochuri, aam pora, posto, chingri macher bhorta, Loitta macher jhuri, Roshogollar payesh, etc., will tantalize your taste buds and satiate the cravings of both vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike!
So, if you’ve been a part of the diaspora, and miss your home food, or you just enjoy Bengali food, don’t forget to make plans to head to the Hyatt Centric this Saturday!
