Freddy Daruwala Attends Women’s Day Celebration At Radisson Mumbai Goregaon

The hotel, Radisson Mumbai Goregaon celebrated women’s day in their own unique style on the 8th of March. An exhibition was conducted at the venue by Shanti Hastkala that works with in the villages of Gujarat in order to empower women. The occasion was attended by the actor, Freddy Daruwala along with stars of Punchbeat, Harshita Gaur and Sindhuja Turlapati. The effort taken by the hotel had a good turnout and the celebrities liked it as well.

Empowering Rural Women

The exhibition had for sale handmade, rural products made by the women residing in the villages of Gujarat. Exhibitions like these help them to stand on their feet. “It is indeed my pleasure to be attending this beautiful exhibition and supporting the cause of women empowerment,” said Freddy Daruwala commenting on the effort by Radisson Mumbai Goregaon. The GM of the hotel,  Ajoy Balakrishna said that, “We are delighted to offer our support to this great cause and womens day is  an appropriate occasion to support work and art of Shanti Hastkala.”

Harshita Gaur who also enjoyed the shopping experience at Radisson said that, “It is a beautiful day and I can’t resist myself from buying most of these products as they are very beautiful and at the same time encouraging village women is extremely important.”
