Krispy Kreme Will Be Dishing Out Green Donuts This St Patrick’s Day

St Patrick’s Day is just around the corner and, like every year, major food brands are pulling out all the stops to help their customers celebrate. Since St Patty’s Day is all about going green, Krispy Kreme will be dishing out limited edition green donuts.

O’riginal Glazed Donuts

The chain has also temporarily renamed their Original Glazed donuts, calling them ‘O’riginal Glazed’ to give them a more Irish spin.

Meanwhile, the green donuts are made using a specially formulated green dough. “St. Patrick’s Day is the perfect occasion to change the color of the Original Glazed, and our customers love sharing them with family and friends,” said Jackie Woodward, Chief Marketing Officer of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. “What’s even rarer – like finding a four-leaf clover – is altering the name of such an iconic product. We’ve never done it. But in this instance, it’s fun and joyful, just like the holiday.”

The green donuts will only be available on March 17th.
