Krispy Kreme’s Donuts Are Going Green For St. Patrick’s Day
St. Paddy’s Day is just around the corner (March 17th, for all you sinners) and Krispy Kreme is doing what it does best by coming out with a green glazed donut to honor the Irish patron saint. While we’ve heard reports of green beer doing the rounds, I think we’re a tad more comfortable with a green glazed pastry to celebrate the day.
Known as the O’riginal Glazed, this treat is a traditional yeast donut made with green-tinted dough. It’s coated in the typical, opaque sugar glaze, so it’ll taste just like the classic glazed donut. Since St. Paddy’s Day falls on a Saturday you’ll be able to get the O’riginal Glazed on both the 16th and 17th of March.
We’re sure that the green glazed donuts would look perfect for your ‘Gram so make sure you don’t miss out on this once a year opportunity where going green doesn’t exactly have to do with the environment!
