Ola And Zomato Ride Together To Provide Integrated Services
Remember when Lyft added a feature where the riders could make a pit stop at Taco Bell back in the United States? Closer home, Ola and Zomato have tied up for online payment and ride booking. “This partnership with Zomato brings increased convenience, seamless mobility and dining or ordering experience to the customers of both the platforms,” Ola Director Alliances Saurabh Mishra said.
Zomato will integrate Ola APIs into their app, enabling easy access to mobility for customers looking for restaurant and eating-out options on their app. Zomato will be integrating Ola Money as a payment option on its app and website. The restaurants that have partnered up with them will abe able to set up special zones where customers can book an Ola cab. Customers can pay for the cab using the option on Zomato’s app and the website.
Also, the customers will be able to view the various restaurant options available, and order food or make table reservations. This can be done through the customised micro Zomato app made for Ola Play which is available on prime options. Zomato’s latest move came after the launch of UberEats this May, the perfect move to counter Uber’s swoop into the delivery arena.
