Radisson Mumbai Goregaon Supported Eco Friendly Flag Initiative On Republic Day
Saturday, 26th of January marked India’s 70th Republic Day and on the patriotic occasion it is common for the people to buy the tricolor flags. A lot of them are made out of plastic and to curb this practice, Radisson Mumbai Goregaon promoted eco friendly flags. The initiative was named ‘my flag, my pride’ and was supported by Indian television actors, Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy.

Not only did this initiative would help curb the use of plastic but would also prevent the national pride going into the trash when the day is over. “We have created an idea of flag that gives a you small plant or a big tree. Instead of Buying a plastic flag you can buy an eco-friendly paper flag that can be grown into a plant or tree,” said Mr Sanjay khandare, the man behind this creative idea.
The actors were joined by Mr Ajoy Balakrishna, GM,Radisson Mumbai Goregaon and Santosh Singh, EAM, Radisson Mumbai Goregaon to promoted this initiative. “It is truly our pleasure to associate with this cause and we appreciate Gautam’s support towards this initiative,” said Balakrishna.
