Gilmore Girls Apple Tart Recipe
Bite into this sinfully delicious tart and you’d want to make it all through winter. We got an inspiration to make this after hearing Lorelai’s yearning for a similar tart made at Christmas at Emily’s home.

- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 6 Thinly sliced apples
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 pastry

Instructions
- Put three quarters of the sugar in a pan and while stirring continuously, heat till it turns into a golden liquid.
- Pour it straight into a pie dish and keep it away.
- Mix the left over sugar with flour and cinnamon.
- Arrange apples in the pie dish on top of the sugar layer using only half of the slices.
- Now sprinkle half the flour mixture on the apples.
- Arrange remaining apples and sprinkle the left over flour mixture.
- Brush the topmost layer with butter and cover with pastry.
- Once sealed, bake the tart at 400 degrees for about 50 minutes or till the crust is golden brown.
- Take out the tart out of the pie mould and serve.
