Nawabi Veg Biryani Recipe

    Instructions
    
                - Soak the basmati rice in 4 cups of water for 30 to 45 minutes.
 - Heat ghee in a pan over medium flame.
 - Saute the onions, potatoes, cumin seeds and green peas for 2 to 3 minutes.
 - Grind all the masala ingredients with a little water to a smooth paste.
 - Add this to the pan and stir well.
 - Simmer for a minute.
 - Drain the water from rice and add to the pan.
 - Cook for 3 to 5 minutes and pour 4 cups of water.
 - Cover with a lid and simmer for 30 to 45 minutes or until rice is cooked.
 - Serve hot with raita.
