The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Macaron Recipe
When Mrs. Maisel meets a top comedienne, she discovers that she isn’t all that she displays on stage. When Midge takes a bite of the macaron offered to her and she get chided by the famous artist, she loses it on stage. This of course was hilarious to watch and is one of the best episodes in the first season. So make some macarons as you watch this show, because girls, you gotta eat!

For Macarons
- 3/4 cup icing sugar
- 3/4 cup ground almonds
- 2 eggs
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1/4 cup caster sugar

- 2/3 cup unsalted butter
- 2/3 cup icing sugar

Instructions
- For the filling of the macaron, beat the butter is a bowl till it is softened.
- Now beat in the sugar till combined.
- Set the filling aside for later use.
- Begin making the macarons by preheating the oven to 300F.
- In a sieve put sugar and almonds and sift them into a bowl.
- Mix them lightly.
- In another bowl using a hand blender whisk the eggs and salt.
- Once you get peaks, add sugar in small amounts and keep whisking it in.
- Now fold in the almond mixture and put the entire batter in a piping bag.
- Put a silicon mat on the baking sheet and pipe in the batter in small amounts.
- Keep some distance between them.
- Tap the sheet a bit and then leave aside for 20 minutes.
- Now put the tray in for baking for about 8 minutes.
- Release the steam and then again bake for 8 minutes.
- Cool the macarons on a wire rack.
- Once cooled, put half a spoon of the filling on one macaron covering it with another.
- Make these sandwiches and your macarons are ready to eat.
