We’re Pretty Sure This Facebook User Invited His Girlfriend’s Wrath On Valentine’s Day: Check Out Why

So we’re not exactly sure where the tradition came from, but come Valentine’s Day every year, girlfriends expect their boyfriends to considerably loosen their wallet strings and take them out for an extravagant, indulgent meal or – at the very least – shower them with gifts and chocolates.

However, we now live in the age of women’s lib and equal rights, so doesn’t it seem fair to expect a girl to pick up the tab once in a while? That’s exactly what this Delhi resident thought; instead of taking his girlfriend out on Valentine’s Day, he turned the tables and posted this on a popular Facebook group, EatTreat:

We can only imagine what the reasons behind this query were; revenge? A little bit of tit for tat? A genuine desire to help along the field of equal rights? Somehow, we doubt that the last reason was the answer, especially considering his follow up comment:
