5 Delights from Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory you can Whip up in your Kitchen

on

No child who reads Roald Dahl’s ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ can finish the book without drooling over the tantalizing chocolates and sweet treats described in mouth-watering detail. The whole book is filled with enticing descriptions of Wonka’s very innovative creations in the world of chocolate, like Prince Pondicherry’s Chocolate Palace (which didn’t end very well for him, unfortunately).

Though almost all of Wonka’s recipes are top-secret, we managed to sneak out some more common recipes that you can re-create in your kitchen for a themed children’s party or just to re-enter the pages of your childhood memories.

Liquid Chocolate

The first boy to fall prey to Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory that ignores child-safety rules, is Augustus Gloop, who starts gulping down the chocolate straight from the river, and is sucked up through the tubes. Here you can find the recipe to make this tempting liquid chocolate at home very easily (and drink it in a much safer environment, too).

Nutty Crunch Surprise

Charlie doesn’t find the golden ticket in this chocolate bar that he buys with his grandpa Joe’s secret stash, but he still has the delicious chocolate to enjoy. If your mouth has always watered to taste Willy Wonka’s chocolate bars, here’s one you can try making.

Whipple-Scrumptious Fudgemallow Delight

Charlie gets this chocolate bar for his birthday present. Although he doesn’t find the golden ticket in this bar, the name and the description of this chocolate bar has never been forgotten by the readers. Find out how to make a Whipple-Scrumptious Fudgemallow Delight Ice-cream topping!

Butterscotch

Although Butterscotch exists outside of Wonka’s world too, no one can make it sound as luxuriantly delightful as Willy Wonka. Find the perfect recipe for a Butterscotch shake right here.

Blueberry Ice-cream

This fruity ice-cream is the perfect thing to gorge on while you’re sitting curled up on a summer’s day with a book (we recommend Charlie and The Chocolate Factory). Find out how to make it the Wonka way here!
