IDK man, I just want pizza.
We love Dominos and Pizza Hut but these Pizzerias in Chennai give the top runners a run for their money.
The Farm, Semmenchery
The Farm is a great place to visit. The place is actually an organic farm where they have set up a restaurant on the theme relaxed-dining. The workers are courteous enough to take the visitors around the farm. Coming to Pizzas, the farm serves wood fired pizzas with good choice of toppings and tastes great too.
Ram’s Farm, Neelankarai
When the family returned from the US, they wanted to start something new. The family’s passion for great pizza led them to open shop. All their ingredients are homemade. This place is a must visit if you want a slice of ghar ka ‘pizza’.
Papa John’s Pizza, Nungambakkam
Papa John’s pizza is a fine dine restaurant unlike Dominos pizza. Located at Nungambakkam, the restaurant occupies a spot notorious for many failed restaurants which closed their doors after few months of operation. Papa John’s maintains that their dough is prepared fresh which greatly differentiates their pizza from other franchisee operated chains. Great place though for those who like regular pizzas, not wood fired or thin crust.
Tuscana Pizzeria, Khader Nawaz Khan Road
The thin crust wood fired pizzas are served with a variety of toppings and choice of cheese. The ambience is great though not much spacious. Pizza lovers should definitely drop by once and have a slice.
California Pizza Kitchen
California Pizza Kitchen is a restaurant which serves many varieties of bread based cuisine including pizza. It is located inside Phoenix market city. Apart from the thin crust pizzas, chipotle cheese balls, cheese cake and BBQ chicken salad are some other dishes you can try out.
Crazy for pizza? This is the place for you. Eatza pizza offers unlimited pizza buffet @ INR 199 onwards. Sam’s pizza is all about quantity and if you expect great taste then you better visit a different restaurant. The salads are really great and they have about 26 varieties of salad.
Little Italy is a chain of Italian restaurants across India. In Chennai, Little Italy is open in Nungambakkam, Anna Nagar and Besant Nagar and serves delicious pizzas in a great ambience which further adds to the experience. Also it serves wood fired pizzas and is 100% VEGETARIAN where it stands apart from other chains.
This place is truly Italian by heart. Located by the beach in Kottivakkam, the pizza is prepared with utmost care to serve wood fired pizza in its original form, texture and taste. In addition to pizzas, steaks and salads are great and filling.
