Cocktail Classics: Daiquiri Recipe
The Daquiri thought to have been developed sometime in the 1800’s in Cuba by an American. However, it’s always difficult to pinpoint just exactly who invented which cocktail hence it could also be a case of doing the best they could with what they had. Today, there are innumerable variations of the humble Daiquiri but this recipe should take you to the root of this classic cocktail.

- 1 1/2 ounces white rum
- 3/4 ounce Lemon juice
- 1/4 ounce Sugar syrup
- ice

Instructions
- Pour the rum, lime juice and sugar syrup into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
- Shake well and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Cheers!
