Straight out of the serpentine lanes of Maharashtra is the Desi Big Mac also known as Vada Pav. This is a deep-fried creation made using boiled mashed potatoes enveloped in gram flour batter and spiced with chillies, garlic, asafoetida, turmeric, mustard seeds and a dry garlic chutney. This one sells like hotcakes and is one big hit among Indians.

Kulcha Chole- Delhi

Kulcha is a buttery leavened bread served with spicy chickpeas. Kulcha can be stuffed with cottage cheese or potatoes and can be served with onions, carrot pickle, green chutney and achaar. They are usually consumed for breakfast and is washed down with a tall glass of creamy lassi.
