Ingredients
- 250 grams Yam peeled and diced
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon fenugreek seeds methi dana
- 1 teaspoon Split blackskinless dhuli urad dal
- 7-8 leaves Curry
- 2 Green chillies slit
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- - 1 Tbs. salt to taste
- crushed black peppercorns
- 2 tablespoons fresh coconut grated

Instructions
- Heat coconut oil in a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
- Add fenugreek seeds, black gram and curry leaves and sauté well. Add green chillies and sauté.
- Add yam, mix well and sauté. Add sugar, salt and crushed peppercorns, mix well, cover and cook on low heat till yam turns soft.
- Add coconut and mix well. Switch off heat
- Serve hot.
