- 3/4 cup gram flour (besan)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 cup Water
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 6-8 teaspoon ghee
- Mixed dry fruits, cashewnuts, raisins almonds and pistachios, finely chopped

Instructions
- To begin making Besan Halwa Recipe, heat ghee in a kadai and add besan to it and fry it for 5-8 minutes until it starts changing colour and the raw smell vanishes.
- When besan has turned light golden brown in colour then add water slowly and keep stirring the besan thoroughly so that it doesn’t form lumps.
- Now add sugar and cardamom powder and blend it all together and stir until the water is fully absorbed. Add some more ghee if you think the halwa requires it.
- Let it cook till the halwa leaves ghee from the sides of the pan. Once done, transfer the halwa to a bowl and garnish it with chopped dry fruits.
- Serve Besan ka Halwa for festivals or even for special occasions as a delicious dessert.
