There will be quite a few highlights at this festival, some of which include a pani puri eating competition, grape stomping, a dance competition and also live performances. There will be a mascot meet and greet session, more than a hundred food dishes and plenty of products available for women. This would be a No Cooking Weekend in Navi Mumbai similar to a No Cooking Day festival in Chembur. The latter was also held by The Bhukkad Flea and the pani puri contest was a hit last year.
“The contest had interesting variations in the rounds to make them challenging,” said Niraj Agarwal, The Bhukkad Flea. “The first round was a knockout. In round two, it got a little tougher. Here, people had to break the puris, add the filling inside and eat them – all with one hand. In the third round, they had to eat the pani puri without using hands. They really had a fun time while doing so,” he added.
