Carla’s Pasta Is All Set To Launch A New Line Of Frozen Pasta
This just in – 64 outlets of Big Y are going to be stocked with a new range of frozen, ready to eat pastas by Carla’s Pasta.
Sandro Squatrito, the Vice President of Business Development stated according to the company press release that, “We could not be happier or more proud to launch our best in class pasta products with the best in class grocery chain like Big Y. To this day, we make everything the way that Mom always did, just a bit more of it.” added Sergio Squatrito, Vice President of Operations. The production unit, which employs over 165 individuals, will be fully handling the production of these pastas in Connecticut.

The Carla’s Pasta product line at Big Y includes Cheese Ravioli, Cheese Tortellini, Gluten Free Penne and Six Cheese Sacchettini, which are packaged in a decade-long invention of microwaveable bags. Their latest range will also include Mac & Cheese, Six Cheese Ravioli with Marinara, Tortellini Alfredo and Buttered Noodles. The frozen line will consist of speciality raviolis like Spinach & Egg Striped Cheese Ravioli, Tomato & Egg Striped Ravioli, Tuscan Style Vegetable Ravioli, Sage & Egg Striped Butternut Squash Ravioli, Spicy Italian Sausage Ravioli, Shrimp Scampi Ravioli, Vegan Ravioli and Gorgonzola Pacchetti. Also being released are their seasonal ranges for ravioli, the current one being Pumpkin Ravioli for fall season.
