Disco Dim Sum launches at The Lantern, The Ritz Carlton Bangalore

In the mood for some Asian delights? Head over to The Lantern at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore that is delighted to bring you their brand new one of a kind high-energy tantalizing dim sum brunch aptly known as Disco Dim Sum every Saturday starting August 17th.

Boasting an artful amalgamation of innovative and traditional dim sum delicacies, the brunch appeals to diners of all ages. An occasion for the entire family, diners at the restaurant’s Saturday brunch will enjoy a feast prepared with fresh ingredients beautifully crafted by Chef Chow Chee Meng & Chef Chan Kah Kwok along with live music and the beats of a DJ.

What’s new? The restaurant’s menus have various light yet hearty vegetarian and non-vegetarian eclectic dim sum options that guests can relish.

Diners can now pick options such as Vegetable & Chive, combination of Asian vegetable and chive, Corn & Asparagus, corn kernels and fresh asparagus in wheat starch skin or the Vegetable Shanghai, carrot, lotus root, celery and water chestnut. Meat eaters can opt for the Chicken Shanghai, a chef’s special spice, Prawn & Asparagus, mix of prawns and asparagus dumpling in potato and wheat starch skin and Chicken Shumai, open steamed chicken dumpling made with wonton skin.

There will also be a choice of hot bowl of Sweet Corn or Lung Fung soup, available both in Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian preferences.

Additionally, patrons can choose Big Plates such as Treasure Vegetables in Kim Yam Sauce, stir-fried vegetables in a spicy coriander sauce, Szechuan Ma Po Tofu, edamame in chilli bean sauce. Also, on the menu is Kam Xiang Lamb, sliced lamb, greens in a spicy Kam Xiang sauce, Sa Cha Chicken, dry chili, green vegetables and coriander for the meat eaters.

Ending the meal on a sweet note, diners can indulge in offerings such as the Chilled Coconut Pudding and assorted ice-cream selections like Lemongrass or Coconut.
