Eminem Fans Got To Try The Famous “Mom’s Spaghetti” At Coachella This Year
The Coachella line up this year is nothing short of epic. Though that’s not the only line-up that’s got fans flocking over to the music festival. The Palm Springs event also has an amazing roster of food chains like Shake Shack and Milk Bar serving up some amazing food at Coachella. But what really got fans talking was a pop-up christened “Mom’s Spaghetti”, launched by none other than popular American rapper, Eminem (nee Marshall Mathers).
For those who don’t know (because they clearly live under a rock), the rap artist released a song by that same name – Mom’s Spaghetti – back in 2002. With a chorus that went “His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy/there’s vomit on his sweater already—Mom’s spaghetti”, the song became a massive hit for over a decade and in fact still regularly features on our social media feeds in the form of memes.
Drawing from the song’s massive popularity over the years, Eminem launched his pop-up eatery at the event location this weekend, just ahead of his performance on Sunday night. However, the music artist had been dropping subtle hints since last week when he Tweeted an image of a billboard with “Mom’s Spaghetti” written across it. He finally announced the special pop-up on Saturday.

The menu at the Not Afraid star’s pop-up restaurant was limited and on-point. According to the Los Angeles Times, the stand served spaghetti made from a local commissary kitchen and featured menu items like take-out spaghetti (US$9), spaghetti with meatballs (US$12), and a spaghetti sandwich (US$11). And needless to say, fans were more than elated with the edible merchandise.
This is not the first time Eminem has kicked off a pop-up restaurant. In 2017, ahead of the release of his Revival album, the rap artist launched a pop-up shop named “Mom’s Spaghetti” in his hometown of Detroit.
