Kheema Sandwich Recipe
Made by stuffing mincemeat between slices of buttered bread, kheema sandwiches are a delicious treat that can be had as a snack or breakfast. They’re great while travelling!
While this recipe includes direction on how to prepare the kheema, you can use a leftover kheema curry to stuff the sandwiches as well.

Ingredients
- 100 grams minced mutton
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 Green chilies
- 2 tomatoes chopped
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 2 tsp Oil
- 1 sprig coriander leaves
- 2 tbsp butter
- salt to taste
- 10 slices of bread
- 1 tsp soy sauce

Instructions
To cook the mince
- Sauté the ginger garlic paste, onions and green chillies in hot oil.
- Stir in the spice powders and sauté for two minutes.
- Stir in the tomatoes and salt and sauté until the tomatoes soften.
- Stir in the minced meat and turn the flame of the stove down.
- Cover the pan with a lid and allow the meat to cook until the water evaporates.
- Stir occasionally so the meat doesn't burn.
- Once the meat cooks, stir in the coriander leaves.
- Take the meat of the stove and allow it to cool.
- In the meantime, spread butter over the bread slices on both sides.
- On a tawa, toast the bread to allow the butter to seep in.
- Then, stuff two slices off the bread with the mincemeat.
- Toast the bread in a sandwich maker,
- Serve and enjoy!
