Little Caesars Is Giving Out Free Pizza Because Of Some Incredible Odds

So, apparently college basketball (men’s, of course) is incredibly popular in the States (all that March Madness and such). However, even if you don’t follow the NCAA, you can still reap the benefits – like free pizza from Little Caesars!

In the history of March Madness, a No. 16 seeded team had never beat a No. 1 seeded team, so Little Caesars ran a promo that would award everyone in the U.S. a free Lunch Combo if that unlikely scenario happened.

Turns out, that actually happened! The 16th seeded University of Maryland, Baltimore County beat the University of Virginia in the first round of the tournament, making history (and Little Caesars cough up free pizza).

Hence, Little Caesars will have for fork out a free “Lunch Combo,” Monday, April 2, the same day as the tournament championship game. The Hot-N-Ready Lunch Combo consists of a four slice Deep Deep Dish pizza, and a 20-ounce Pepsi product. The only catch is that you have to order the pizza between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., local time. Missing a bit of work for a free pizza lunch? Sounds like a deal to me!
