Namma Beantown Backyard Festival Is The Perfect Option For Your Weekend Getaway
Bengaluru gets its own backyard festival filled with music, entertainment and brews. ‘The Beantown Backyard Festival’ is all set to level up experiential events with its first outdoor music and entertainment festival.
Set in Bengaluru’s backyard, Canterbury Castles near Nandi Hills. The two-day festival will host an eclectic line-up which includes British band Asian Dub Foundation, Indian folk musician Kutle Khan Project, contemporary Indian music band Parvaaz and others like Soul Mate, Thermal & a Quarter and Maati Baani. Ms. Mohammed, a UK-based queer artist who champions the rights of the LGBT community through her music, will also make her India debut.
Over 20 food trucks will also be parked at the venue, offering specialty food pop-ups and excellent brews. Apart from great brews and music, there will be yoga sessions with Buddhist monks, early morning short hikes up the hill, hot-air balloons, slack-lining and an outdoor campsite for overnight camping.
What’s more? At the Beantown Backyard Festival you make your grand entry at the festival by zip lining from the ticketing area to the main performance zone (yes, it’s as exciting as it sounds)! So, book your tickets and ensure you don’t have a serious case of FOMO after this weekend!
