Ramona’s first teenage birthday party didn’t get off to the best start but even teens can show some ‘awww’ moments on screen and in real life. In this case, her friends brings cupcakes to her room with lit candles and say that they’re there for her and not the party. Cute, right?

- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 cups hot water
- 3/4 cup Oil
- 2 tbsp Vinegar
- 1 tbsp instant coffee
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
Frosting
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp instant coffee
- 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
- Begin by putting the oven on preheat at 350°F.
- In a mixing bowl take flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
- Mix till combined.
- Now in another bowl, mix water, oil, vinegar, instant coffee and vanilla.
- Once combined, add to the flour mixture and make a batter by stirring.
- Line the moulds and fill 3/4th with batter.
- Bake for 15 minutes or till done.
- Make the frosting by heating butter and adding sugar, cocoa, and salt.
- Mix this and in a bowl, stir heavy cream, sour cream, and instant coffee.
- Now add this mixture to the pan till the sugar has dissolved.
- Cool it down and once the cupcakes are at the room temperature, frost them with the icing.
- Refrigerate till you have to serve.
