Gin Lover? Try Out This Gimlet Cocktail Recipe!
This cocktail is literally like a ginny fresh lime soda with less soda and more gin! That alone would make any gin lover a happy camper! A 1928 description of the drink was: “gin, a spot of lime, and soda”. However, modern recipes are more liberal with the gin and less liberal with the soda.
Just FYI the Gimlet may have been named after a surgeon admiral in the Royal Navy who added lime cordial to the men’s drinks to combat scurvy. Neat huh? Try out this Gimlet cocktail recipe from Liquor.com and stay healthy!
