Gin Lover? Try Out This Gimlet Cocktail Recipe!

This cocktail is literally like a ginny fresh lime soda with less soda and more gin! That alone would make any gin lover a happy camper! A 1928 description of the drink was: “gin, a spot of lime, and soda”. However, modern recipes are more liberal with the gin and less liberal with the soda.

• 2 1/2 ounces Gin
• 1/2 ounce lime juice
• 1/2 ounce simple syrup
• ice
• lemon wheel for garnish

Instructions

1. Add all the ingredients to a shaker and fill with ice.
2. Shake, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass or an Old Fashioned glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a lime wheel and fight scurvy!
