- 250 grams aloo/potatoes about 3 medium sized potatoes
- 1 green chili/green chilli chopped
- inch ½ginger/adrak finely chopped
- 2 tsp cumin seeds/jeera
- tsp ⅛hing/asafoetida/hing about 2 to 3 pinches
- tsp ¼turmeric powder/haldi
- tsp ½red chili powder/lal mirch powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder/dhania powder
- 1 tsp dry mango powder/amchur alternative is lemon juice or dry pomegranate powder
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves/dhania patta
- 1 tbsp Oil
- salt as required

- bubble or steam 3 medium measured potatoes (250 grams potatoes).
