IHOP Copycat Pancake Recipe
IHOP, a popular brand that makes sumptuous pancakes and waffles has come down to India as well and has opened its first store in Gurugram. While it takes time to expand to other cities, why not make ourselves some pancakes to keep ourselves satiated in the mean time? So here goes!

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 cups Buttermilk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
- Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a bowl.
- Now mix egg and buttermilk in another bowl till well combined.
- Add this egg mix to the dry ingredients and stir.
- Once you get a smooth batter, add melted butter, sugar and vanilla till combined.
- Now heat a little butter in a pan and let it spread a bit.
- Using a ladle, pour some batter on the pan to make the first pancake.
- Once the bottom side of the pan cake is light brown, flip it to get the same colour on the other side.
- Make more pancakes like these and keep stacking them up.
- Serve with fresh fruit like bananas, blueberries or strawberries and maple syrup.
