Yes, she will be back with all her sass and magic this December and the trailer sure looks promising. We’re celebrating with Mary Poppins’ favourite lemons cakes and we’re sure you’d want to take a slice or two!

- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cup plain flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/2 tsp Almond essence
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 4 egg whites

Instructions
- Set the oven for preheating at 160 degree C.
- Using a hand mixer, whisk the butter into a creamy texture.
- Now incorporate flour and baking powder and lastly mix in the milk.
- At the end whisk in the egg whites and lemon zest.
- Keep whisking till you get a frothy mixer.
- Pour the batter into a cake mould and bake for 20 minutes or till done.
- Serve with a sprinkle of icing sugar on top.
