Raw Mango Salad Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups peeled and thinly sliced raw mangoes
- 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp finely chopped fresh red chillies
- 1 tsp tamarind pulp imli
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced tomatoes
- salt to taste

Instructions
- Place the raw mangoes in ice-cold water for atleast 30 minutes and drain. Keep aside.
- Combine the sugar, red chillies, tamarind pulp and lemon juice and grind in a mortar-pestle (khalbhatta) till the mixture is coarse. Keep this dressing aside.
- Combine the mangoes, brown sugar-chilli dressing, tomatoes and salt into a bowl and toss gently.
- Refrigerate till serving.
